Lorna was a wonderful companion to me and a homemaker, and a loving mother to Stephen and Jordan. Carmela H. Cornejo, 72, of Normal, died Friday morning, Feb. 17, 2023. For years she supported two children in Africa through Plan International Canada, repaired many cleft palates through Operation Smile, and always carried change in her purse for those on the street asking for a handout.
